Trex Commercial recently completed two new case study projects that elevate the company’s presence in the healthcare and office industries.

A Nashville-based company recently opened its new $285 million global office in Nashville’s mixed-use neighborhood, The Gulch. From a coffee shop and state-of-the-art gym to food hall and dry-cleaners, the amenity-rich office includes everything one might need, and its lobby features a wall of live greenery and plenty of natural light. To ensure all 2,000 employees have ample room to work, the building features 400 different meeting spaces, including a staircase that doubles as a seating and staging area for internal meetings. Trex Commercial’s Ascent® Glass Windscreen lines the rooftops, which optimizes views of The Gulch and Nashville Yards. Inside and outside the facility is Trex Commercial’s Track Rail™, Cable Rail and Stainless Aisle Rail with LED lights to safely guide employees and guests as they make their into and around the office.

Mille Lacs Health Clinic: For more than 50 years, Mille Lacs Health System, a non-profit, community-owned healthcare organization, has provided top-quality health and medical services to the Minnesota community for which it is named. During a recent renovation of the main hospital facility, Trex Commercial engineered a custom railing system for the building’s central staircase and overlooks. More than 200 linear feet of our glass Track Rail™ is integrated throughout the common areas. For the full-circle overlook, we worked with OldCastle BE to create curved glass guardrail using half-inch monolithic glass to accommodate the tight radius and ensure alignment with the apex.
