Corporate, startup and VC leaders in manufacturing invited to attend.

Indianapolis, IN — gener8tor, a nationally-ranked accelerator and venture capital firm, will virtually host its fourth annual OnRamp Manufacturing Conference on October 14, 2021. The event brings together leading corporations, investors and startups in the Manufacturing industry to discuss topics ranging from diversity and inclusion in the industry, supply chain management, digitalization and workforce trends, and where the challenges and opportunities lie from an investment perspective. This event is presented in partnership with the Indiana Economic Development Corporation.

The one-day conference will feature a morning keynote presentation by Celeste Drake, Made in America Director from The Office of Management and Budget, moderated by Chris Luecke. They will be discussing their vision for a future where all manufacturing is made in America by all of America’s workers — including minority entrepreneurs and small businesses in every region in our country. An afternoon keynote with Samantha Huang, Principal at BMW i Ventures, moderated by Fred Schonenberg, will discuss BMW’s corporate venture capital initiatives and innovations along with the investment opportunities they are making and seeking in today’s manufacturing space.

”Manufacturing is reaching a pivotal point in industrial innovations and advancements are going to be needed in order to meet the needs of the next generation,” said Dave Roberts, chief innovation officer for the Indiana Economic Development Corporation. “As the industry continues to lean into using AI and digitization, the connections and conversations made between startups, executives and investors is vital to tackle this ambitious effort.”

Started by gener8tor in 2013, the OnRamp Conference Series grew out of a desire to provide entrepreneurs at various stages of growth access to high level corporate leaders and later stage investors.
