CCi has won the prestigious Brandon Hall Group silver award in the Best Advance in Learning Technologies.
CAPE TOWN: Competitive Capabilities International (CCi) has won the prestigious Brandon Hall Group silver award in the Best Advance in Learning Technology implementation category at this year’s Human Capital Management Excellence Awards. As a leader in operational excellence and continuous improvement, CCi believes in practicing what it preaches by supporting its people with innovative solutions that rapidly build capability.
CCi’s award-winning solution enables employees to learn and share their knowledge through an integrated digital platform that facilitates shared learning and supports digital and cultural transformation within the organization.
This solution was designed to meet the following business challenges, which had become even more pressing as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic:
In just 15 weeks, CCi’s Learning and Development (L&D) team developed a brand to support the learning transformation journey which was dubbed ‘Be Curious’. The team also designed and implemented the learning management system (LMS) interface and workspace structures; codified key resources; integrated the technology with CCi’s digital workspace and facilitated co-creation i.e., information sessions with all regions and key stakeholders. Featuring 1066 resources, the LMS was rolled out to more than 200 users within this short time frame. A typical LMS roll-out usually takes six to nine months.
The response to the platform roll-out was positive and there was an impressive 80% adoption rate by CCi employees. The data shows that 70% of users visit the platform at least twice a month. In the weeks that followed, 572 new resources were added by contributors across the organization which amounted to a 1700% increase in content creation.
Some of the user benefits include:
“We are immensely proud of the silver recognition received from the Brandon Hall Group in the Best Advance in Learning Technology Implementation category. Unlocking greatness in our people is a key enabler for building capability in a rapidly changing landscape. We work to ensure CCi is an environment where our people are enabled to learn every day and seize opportunities to play to their strengths,” says Ronel du Toit, Head of Talent, Learning and Development at CCi.
CCi CEO, Jay Milligan, adds: “One of our key strategies is ‘People first’, both our own people and our clients. The ‘Be curious’ program has been incredibly effective in taking our knowledge sharing and learning to the next level and engaging our people in ways we have never been able to before. The Brandon Hall Group Excellence Award underlines what we have known all along: our L&D team has developed a world-class solution that is helping us keep our teams on a lifelong journey of learning.”
CCi will continue to innovate and provide the environment and tools required for its people to do their best work in supporting its valued clients.
