Located in Bangalore’s Central Business District on the seventh floor of The Leela Palace on Old Airport Road, the office is connected to Leela’s five-star luxury hotel, a member of the brand family thrice voted among the World’s Best by Travel + Leisure Magazine. The office is very close to neighboring technology hubs such as Inner Ring Road, Belandur, Marathalli, and Whitefield, and within easy reach of the Bangalore Metro, all making the new Cleo office easily accessible for customers, employees, and business partners alike.
Cleo currently has more than 425 employees worldwide, with 150 staffers in Bangalore. The new office can accommodate well over 200 workers, a testament to Cleo’s expectation that it will steadily continue adding staff for key positions in the months and years ahead.
Teams that operate out of the Bangalore office support and service Cleo customers around the globe through critical roles including:
“Cleo’s first Bangalore office opened in 2015, with just 10 employees,” said Vishal Byakod, Vice President, Development and Operations, Cleo Bangalore. “Since then, the team has expanded by more than 15x and we have plans to add at least 25 new teammates into new positions across engineering, customer experience, and customer success over the next six months. So clearly we needed the additional space.”
“The city of Bangalore and its people have been instrumental in Cleo’s success and in advancing our global presence,” said Cleo President and CEO, Mahesh Rajasekharan. “We are thrilled for Cleo’s next chapter as this expansion enables us to better serve our customers, attract and grow top-tier talent, and provide a collaborative environment where innovation can thrive in support of our expected explosive growth in India as well as in the U.S. and EMEA regions.”
Beyond its Bangalore location, Cleo has additional offices in Downtown Chicago, world headquarters in Rockford, Illinois, UK offices in London, and serves EMEA from its Cleo Amsterdam office.
