Environmental Cleaning Solutions becomes a second-generation, family-owned company under its new president, Josh Ober.
ANNVILLE, PA – Environmental Cleaning Solutions (ECS) and Eagle Distribution Services has transitioned to new leadership with Josh Ober being named the President of the two companies, which combined, employs over 500 people across 12 states. In this new role, Ober continues the tradition and legacy of the company built by his father, David Ober, Sr in 1989.
As the President of ECS, a commercial and industrial cleaning company, and Eagle, a staffing solutions business for warehouse, distribution, and ecommerce fulfillment centers, Ober is responsible for driving the visionary leadership that will continue to grow the impact that these companies have on its people, customers, and community.
For more than a decade, Josh Ober has worked his way up at ECS, beginning as a Janitor at the Harrisburg Mall. As he gained experience and forged relationships, Ober’s role within the company continued to evolve to Account Manager, Director of Operations, Vice President of Operations, and Executive Vice President. In 2024, Ober became the President of both ECS and Eagle Distribution Services, a sister company to ECS which Ober founded in 2022. Now under Ober’s leadership, ECS has fulfilled his father’s dream of becoming a second-generation, family-owned business that remains deeply rooted in its Core Four values: Own, Empower, Serve, and Grow.
“I am deeply honored to take on the role of President at ECS and Eagle. I am incredibly proud of what we have achieved together as a team and family, and I am excited to lead these companies into the next chapter of growth and success,” says Ober.
Josh Ober is a lifelong servant leader who has demonstrated commitment, dedication, and drive at every step along his career path. His accomplishments are the result of immense effort and hard work, beginning with his military service. Straight from high school, Josh joined the Marine Corps, serving 8 years and 3 overseas deployments. He was meritoriously promoted to the rank of Sergeant (E-5) at the age of 21. This formative experience solidified within Josh the essence of ECS’s mission, which is to serve others and build partnerships.
“As both a business owner and father, I am incredibly proud of Josh and am confident in his ability to grow the mission and vision of ECS and Eagle,” adds David Ober, Sr., Founder and Former President of ECS. “A motto we have always embraced is ‘We are small enough to care, and big enough to make a difference.’ and I have had the immense pleasure of seeing Josh embody this truth through every step of his professional journey.”
