Alex Finn has outlined his bold vision and strategy to lead the company into an even more prosperous 2026, in an increasingly competitive and commoditised market, where standing out from the competition is becoming ever more crucial.

Evolve IP is a top 10 UK service provider of cloud-based communications and worldwide collaboration solutions – where Alex has been in his new role for just a few months. The former paratrooper is determined to lead from the front, as AI impact starts to accelerate.

“My focus is on shaping a partner ecosystem that’s clearer, more connected and built for elasticity and velocity – adapting quickly, scaling smartly, and driving commercial growth that creates lasting strategic impact and greater business outcomes,” he revealed.

Scalable technologies

Alex brings a wealth of experience in enterprise technology and partner-led growth, with a proven track record of driving customer success and building high-performing sales.

Previously working as Global Partner Manager, Alex is now leading Evolve IP’s worldwide sales strategy, strengthening relationships with partners and accelerating growth in new and existing markets, including the UK and beyond.

“In a nutshell it’s about deepening our partnerships, supporting partners in developing their businesses and driving new opportunities for growth globally. Delivering best-in-class solutions that empower reselling partners by providing them with innovative, scalable and secure technologies, is our main objective.”

Alex continued: “Obviously this is a much broader role so my initial focus has been on engaging with our wider partner community, getting out there, meeting people and strengthening relationships.

“It’s an exciting opportunity for me not to only build on the strong foundations already in place, but also reset a little and refocus with the team so we can create more meaningful impact across our vendor and partner ecosystem for more sustainable growth.”

Rewarding journey

Evolve IP’s recent new partnership with customer experience automation specialist Talkdesk, is one area to excite Alex, in an increasingly AI-driven market.

“We’re quite focused on this. Some of the use cases we now have will really help elevate our presence, especially in the CCaaS market. This is one of our main growth areas for 2026, focusing on key vertical such as healthcare, hospitality and automotive to enable our partners to differentiate themselves. We work hard to take them on a rewarding journey. That’s the key.”

Alex emphasised: “We’re also working to amplify that partner ecosystem, making sure, we’re showing up as a unified point in the market. Together we are building those joint narratives and showcasing the sort of collective value we’re bringing to both their customers and our partner ecosystem.

“2025 has been a good year so far but there’s always new challenges to overcome. As well as strong growth, this year has been about product innovation for us. Beginning a partnership with Talkdesk, and continuing our work with compliancy solutions such as Evolve IP’s Secure Call – as well as other technologies we’ve brought into our ecosystem and portfolio this year.

“I think 2026 is all around sales velocity. How can we execute on the products we’ve bought to market this year? How can we achieve the growth for our resellers and decommoditise their businesses as well?

Building blocks

“The conversations partners are having, rather than just being product orientated, we are shifting into valuable conversations around business outcomes and strategic discussions. How to differentiate in a very commoditised market, has always been one of the key building blocks of what we do best.

“We are shifting that conversation away from just talking about features and functionality to looking at business goals, business strategy, business outcomes and how we and the various technologies can enhance those business outcomes. 2026 will all be about sales velocity to unleash and unlock potential.”

The 32-year-old went straight into the army from school where for five years he was a paratrooper, including two tours of Afghanistan. “A lot of my core skills stem from there really. I learned a lot of life lessons,” added Alex who then became a personal trainer before moving into car sales prior to starting at BT. From there he switched to Evolve IP reseller, Keyloop for five years, before joining his current employer in 2022 where he started as a Partner Manager before a global sales role.

He concluded: “I’m really excited about what the future holds. It’s more than just a job for me. I think being so passionate does make a big difference. Having a great team behind me is invaluable too.”
