Manufacturing Is Not Failing, It’s Flourishing - Industry Today - Leader in Manufacturing & Industry News

A new survey by Leading2Lean revealed that a majority of Americans believe that the American manufacturing sector is failing, which couldn’t be farther from the truth. In reality, manufacturing is growing at such a fast rate that over the next decade, nearly 3.5 million manufacturing jobs will become available, and an estimated 2 million of those jobs will go unfilled. The survey also revealed a perception that manufacturing isn’t a viable career option, and in response Leading2Lean hopes to educate the public about what’s really happening on the floors of American manufacturing plants.
