Solution alleviates the safety manager’s task of tracking safety performance at job sites, expiry dates of equipment, worker certifications.
Las Vegas, Nev. — Twiceme Technology, a company dedicated to revolutionizing safety solutions, today debuted its Twiceme Safety Management Portal (SMP) at World of Concrete in Las Vegas. The SMP is a comprehensive solution for all safety management value chain components, from ensuring worker certifications to tracking the health and expiration dates of personal protective equipment (PPE).
The SMP empowers safety managers to digitally transform their approach to safety and certification management on a job site. The SMP is a desktop or tablet solution that gives safety managers access to a secure dashboard for their organization and an overview of safety performance at job sites, including PPE inventory, condition tracking, and records of guided product inspection, all through one digital portal.
“There are many moving parts on a construction site or an industrial facility, and ensuring employee and equipment safety is one of the most critical components,” said Christian Connolly, CEO of Twiceme Technology. “Yet, it is one of the most challenging factors to manage as safety managers must check certifications, equipment records, and more, individually, often through physical paper documents. The Safety Management Portal brings significant value to safety managers by helping to digitally transform what was previously a cumbersome process, ensuring all workers are safe and compliant on a job site through a single digital dashboard.”
Workers are often required to obtain and maintain certifications to perform daily tasks, most of which are tracked with pen and paper. This scenario poses a challenge for workers and safety managers, who must constantly track expiration and renewal dates and ensure that workers are certified for the designated job at hand for compliance purposes.
With Twiceme’s SMP, workers can quickly and easily store their respective certifications in their equipment via the embedded Twiceme near-field communication (NFC) hardware in their PPE. The portal empowers safety managers to scan the Twiceme-enhanced PPE to retrieve information on workers’ certifications and training history for compliance and inspection. Safety managers will benefit from significantly improved productivity and organization via an aggregated view of worker certifications and expiration dates within the portal.
It’s integral to ensure PPE properly functions to safeguard the lives of those on the job site. Equipment such as safety harnesses and helmets don’t have a set expiration date, so it’s critical for employees to conduct regular personal equipment checks. However, there is a lack of easy-to-use inspection tools, especially digital options, that make it easy for employees and organizations to inspect, document, and track PPE health.
The SMP streamlines PPE inspections, walking workers through a thorough routine to ensure the equipment is properly maintained and meets safety standards, reducing the risk of equipment failure while enhancing workplace safety. Safety managers can then view inspections through the portal. The portal’s equipment health tracking feature tells management when safety equipment was last inspected, when it needs its next inspection, and a recommendation on when the equipment should be replaced.
The Twiceme SMP is currently being offered as a free beta trial. Following the trial, users will need to purchase a subscription to continue accessing the platform. Visit twiceme.com/safety-management-portal to register for the complimentary trial.
Twiceme Technology will attend World of Concrete 2025 from January 20-23, 2025, at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Visit Booth C3439 to learn more about the Safety Management Portal.
