BESSEMER CITY, NC — Precision Drive Systems (PDS), a global provider of precision motor spindles, expert support, and repair services near Charlotte, NC, has announced that they have hired Keith Gutberlet as an Application Engineer for new engineered products, automation innovation, and technology services.
“As a mechanical design engineer, Keith is highly skilled in diagnostics, design engineering, and mechanical planning,” said Robert Turk, President of PDS. “Keith’s experience in automation research, mechanical system feasibility, computer simulations, prototype development, and test analytics will enable PDS to deliver customized technologies that drive our customers’ businesses.” At PDS, Keith will provide technical support, diagnostic testing, and innovative design to help PDS’ development and sales teams deliver innovation, optimization, and updates to ensure our clients’ ongoing success.
Before joining the PDS team, Keith was a design and manufacturing engineer at Leonard Automatics Inc. and worked at both Blue Tech Inc. and Tailored Chemical Products Inc. in a variety of roles, including project manager. Keith studied Engineering Technology at Catawba Valley Community College in Hickory, NC.
