Maximizing vertical space with a three-story mezzanine solution.

Challenge

A customer faced significant storage limitations as their facility’s floor space was fully occupied. With no room for horizontal expansion, they needed a solution that would maximize vertical space while maintaining efficient workflow and accessibility.

Solution

Panel Built, in collaboration with Brodie Forrester of Innovative Space Management Solutions, designed and delivered two custom three-story mezzanines to fully utilize the facility’s unused headroom.

• Mezzanine 1: 28′ x 60′
• Mezzanine 2: 32′ x 70′

Both mezzanines were powder-coated blue with yellow handrails, maintaining the facility’s aesthetic while enhancing visibility and safety. To support heavy-duty material handling, ResinDek flooring was installed on all levels. Multiple six-foot pivot gates were integrated, allowing forklifts to efficiently load materials onto each level, streamlining the storage process.
