MANSFIELD, TX – TA Services, a premier full-service third-party logistics provider, announces Dani Etkin-Spigelman, Vice President of Business Development at TA Services, has been named a winner of the 2023 Rock Stars of the Supply Chain award.

This award is presented by Food Logistics, the only publication exclusively dedicated to covering the movement of product through the global cold food supply chain. The 2023 Rock Stars of the Supply Chain award recognizes influential individuals in the industry whose achievements, hard work, and vision have shaped the global cold food supply chain.

Etkin-Spigelman joined TA Services in Aug. 2021 when TA Services acquired Toronto, ON-based Scout Logistics, worldwide specialists in over-the-road transportation of perishable freight. She brings a decade of experience and expertise in cold chain logistics with a deep network of carrier relationships from across North America. Known for her honesty and dedication, Etkin-Spigelman forges trust with those who work with her, which drives her high-retention rate of customers and carriers alike.

“I’m honored to be included in a list with so many of my talented peers in the industry. While my name may be on the award, I’d be remiss not to point out that what we do at TA Services is a team effort–from drivers and warehouse employees to operations and logistics professionals–we all work together to make ship happen. I’m grateful to be a part of this team, and I look forward to continuing to push the boundaries of what’s possible in cold chain logistics,” said Etkin-Spigelman.

“Not all rock stars are famous musicians. There are several rock stars right here in the cold chain, promoting workforce development, solving supply chain disruptions, mitigating risks, and helping to heal the supply chain,” said Marina Mayer, Editor-in-Chief of Food Logistics and Supply & Demand Chain Executive.

As Vice President of Business Development, Etkin-Spigelman invests in workforce training and development, managing a growing team of customer service and capacity representatives. She also maintains close relationships with dozens of carriers and clients, arranging timely pickup, delivery, and tracking for freight across North America.

“These rock stars rock. Period. They’re shaping the future of our global cold chains. And, they’re doing so in a way that’s both humble and pragmatic. Every year, I’m honored to celebrate these go-getters, and this year is no exception,” Mayer said.

Recipients of this year’s award will be profiled in Food Logistics’ Jan/Feb 2023 print issue. The complete list of winners is available online at foodlogistics.com.
