As Premix Group USA continues to expand, we are pleased to announce the appointment of Matt James as our Director of Sales.

Matt brings decades of proven leadership and expertise in the plastics industry. Most recently, he served in a sales leadership role at Techmer PM, where he oversaw a high-performing team of sales engineers, business development managers, and application development engineers. His background also includes a wide range of sales, engineering, and managerial positions across the plastics sector, making him exceptionally well-equipped to support Premix’s growing U.S. customer base.
“Since launching our production plant in North Carolina, Premix has remained committed to expanding our conductive compounds portfolio within the American market. Matt’s extensive experience in sales and leadership within the plastics industry makes him a valuable addition to our team as we continue to grow our presence,” said Jyrki Taiminen, Head of Premix USA Operations.
In June 2025, Premix Group proudly opened its first U.S. manufacturing facility at the Apple Creek Corporate Center near Charlotte, North Carolina. This advanced facility brings together automation engineering and AI-driven innovation to enhance domestic supply chain resilience for conductive plastics.
The new site enables Premix to deliver conductive compounds to North American customers faster, cleaner, and smarter—setting new standards in ESD materials and conductive polymer technologies. https://www.premixgroup.com/
