Messer Construction Co. is proud to announce the promotion of Pete Bergman to Vice President and Cincinnati Region Leader.

Cincinnati, Ohio – Messer Construction Co. is proud to announce the promotion of Pete Bergman to Vice President and Cincinnati Region Leader.

“I’m honored to lead our 300 employees here in the Cincinnati office and to continue to strengthen our customer relationships,” Bergman said. “We have a great team with a tremendous blend of experience, expertise, customer focus and drive for continued growth. 

“I look forward to building even more partnerships with the organizations and communities that make this region so special. It’s an exciting time for us in Cincinnati and across the company.” 

Bergman has been with Messer for 20 years, providing operational support and client relationship development while helping champion economic inclusion strategies and providing companywide health care market segment leadership.

For the last several years, he’s been focused on Messer’s largest client, Cincinnati Children’s, as well as the Urban Workforce Development Initiative. At Cincinnati Children’s, Bergman has been part of the Critical Care Building, Cancer Therapy Center, Liberty Inpatient Expansion and Northern Avenue Garage Expansion. 

Bergman has a bachelor’s degree in architecture from the University of Cincinnati. He serves on the board for OneSource Center and is involved with several committees for the American Heart Association. He’s also participating in this year’s Leadership Cincinnati class through the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber.

Bergman’s predecessor, Greg Herrin, retired from Messer in 2022 after 39 years with the company.
