Collaboration delivers turnkey digital safety solutions for equipment brands.

STOCKHOLM, Sweden & HANOVER, Germany – Twiceme Technology, a company building the digital safety standard for jobsites and adventures, and FIDLOCK, an innovator in magnet-mechanical fastening systems, today announced a strategic partnership to make Twiceme Technology an upgrade option in FIDLOCK’s consumer and professional chinstrap buckle systems.
The collaboration represents a significant expansion of connected safety technology for helmet, workwear, footwear, and other safety gear manufacturers. By integrating Twiceme’s digital safety platform into FIDLOCK’s magnetic buckle system, original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) now have an additional, ready-to-specify option to digitize personal safety information and critical safety data in their products. The new FIDLOCK buckles with Twiceme simplify integration and streamline production while elevating safety standards for outdoor sports and industrial work.
“We’ve always believed that truly innovative safety solutions must deliver outstanding functionality, designed to be invisible in their complexity but obvious in their value,” said Joachim Fiedler, CEO, FIDLOCK. “We’re taking two specialized areas of expertise, our magnetic-mechanical fastening innovations and Twiceme’s digital safety technology, and combining them into a solution that’s greater than the sum of its parts. The partnership will accelerate our offering of digital safety technologies and the larger adoption, turning a life-saving technology into a new option with the potential to become standard in the future.”
By embedding life-saving technology into a component that every helmet already requires, the partnership simplifies the adoption of advanced safety features, particularly for sports enthusiasts.
“True safety innovation should simplify, not complicate,” said Christian Connolly, CEO of Twiceme Technology. “We’re always looking to reduce complexity to improve safety, which means always looking for new ways to reduce barriers for customers and equipment brands. The Twiceme FIDLOCK integration adds another option for integrating equipment that offers advanced digital safety with zero burden. FIDLOCK and Twiceme share the same obsession with reliability and a belief that the best technology is simple. The user just wears their helmet, and the technology does the rest.”
Both companies have built their reputation on relentless innovation in safety across cycling, skiing, and industrial markets. Twiceme Technology has pioneered digital safety systems that enable first responders to access critical medical information and emergency contacts from an unconscious or injured person’s helmet or gear without requiring batteries, charging, or connectivity. Over the last three years, Twiceme has expanded its technology to become a full safety ecosystem for sports and professional users.
FIDLOCK has spent more than two decades revolutionizing how things connect, creating magnetic-mechanical fastening systems that combine intuitive one-handed operation with exceptional reliability. The company’s buckle systems are trusted in some of the world’s most demanding applications, where failure is not an option.
The Twiceme-integrated FIDLOCK buckle systems will be available to equipment partners in the second half of 2026. The partnership will initially focus on consumer helmets for cycling, winter sports, and other outdoor activities.
