SolarReviews released its annual solar panel brand ranking list, featuring top picks for 2024.
SolarReviews released its annual solar panel brand ranking list, and Qcells has been crowned the top solar panel brand for the second year in a row!
Details around the ranking list can be found here, but here is a quick snapshot of the top 2024 solar panel brands:
The Solar Panel Manufacturer Scoring System analyzed hundreds of data points drawn from solar panel spec sheets, company financial statements, and state-level government statistics to score each solar panel brand. The ranking covers diverse factors, including each panel’s overall value, module quality, warranty, and the manufacturer’s financial strength and investment in the U.S. market.
“2023 was an interesting year for solar, with rising interest rates and changes to major state solar policies altering the industry landscape. It’s more important than ever that homeowners and installers have access to trustworthy information about investing in solar. That’s why SolarReviews created a list of the top solar panel brands. We’re proud of our ranking system and know that it can help consumers invest in solar confidently”, said Andy Sendy, president of SolarReviews.
“Qcells is proud to deliver complete clean energy solutions to consumers across the U.S. with our affordable, reliable, and sustainable solar and battery storage technologies,” said David Shin, President of Qcells North America. “We are very pleased to be named No. 1 on SolarReviews’ Top U.S. Solar Panel Manufacturers list for the second year in a row. This recognition reflects our dedication to developing high-quality, long-lasting solar products for our customers and our $2.5 billion investment in Georgia to expand our operations and onshore a fully integrated solar supply chain. Just this past October, we began the assembly of two new solar products at our expanded Dalton, Georgia, facility: The Q.TRON G2 residential solar panel and a bifacial panel for the commercial and utility market. As we continue to innovate and grow, we take pride in being a leader in the U.S. solar industry and our role in shaping the clean energy transition into a reality.”
