Green IP has achieved Microsoft Operator Connect status, further strengthening its strategic integration with Microsoft Teams.

Green IP, a leading provider of carrier grade voice and communication solutions, has achieved Microsoft Operator Connect status, further strengthening its strategic integration with Microsoft Teams and expanding its enterprise-grade communication capabilities.
This latest milestone means that, in addition to Green IP’s successful Teams Direct Routing solution, customers can now take advantage of Microsoft’s Operator Connect framework to integrate calling directly into Microsoft Teams with even greater control, performance and reliability.
UK-based Green IP, operates across more than 25 countries and has enjoyed a year of success, including many new business wins, a significant rise in revenue and the recent appointment of Jamie Hughes as Director of Business Development.
The company specialises in unified communications, voice and AI contact centre, connectivity, mobile, network solutions and cyber security, all underpinned by a strong commitment to sustainability and a carbon-neutral ethos.
Microsoft Operator Connect is an advanced integration program that allows certified telecom operators to connect their voice networks directly into Microsoft Teams, enabling customers to make and receive PSTN (Public Switched Telephone Network) calls natively within Teams.
Unlike traditional Direct Routing, Operator Connect provides simplified provisioning through the Teams Admin Centre and enhanced reliability through Microsoft’s Operator-Managed Infrastructure.
In addition, customers also benefit from enterprise-grade quality of service (QoS) and performance monitoring, whilst direct support and billing from the operator, provides a seamless experience from provisioning to service assurance.
“For customers, this means faster deployment, better quality, and tighter integration between their Microsoft collaboration tools and carrier-grade telephony services,” Jamie explained. “Seamless Integration with Green IP’s carrier grade solutions with Operator Connect certification, means we can now deliver our cyber voice security, carrier grade resilience, and global network reach directly into Microsoft Teams environments. It’s a major boost to our customer collaboration capabilities.”
Jamie concluded: “This achievement underscores Green IP’s commitment to delivering secure, scalable and future-ready communication services that meet the needs of modern enterprises worldwide.
“Achieving Microsoft Operator Connect status is a key milestone for us. It reinforces our mission to deliver secure, carrier grade voice services that integrate seamlessly with our customers’ collaboration tools.
“With Operator Connect and our Teams Direct Routing offering, we now provide customers with even greater flexibility, performance and control, all underpinned by our global cyber voice security platform. This is only the start with more advancements coming soon. 2025 has been a year of success and next year will be even bigger and better.”
