November 9, 2016 Accurate Technology Introduces Custom Measuring Systems

ProTable X is a semi-custom measuring system designed to measure sheets, discs and more. The surface is anodized aluminum plate or stainless steel with a slot down the length, allowing a contact pin/plate to pass through the surface. This arrangement allows measurement of very thin parts. The system, designed to be used in a manufacturing environment, is battery operated and includes automatic temperature sensing and compensation. ProTable X has an accuracy of ± .003 inches across the entire linear range of measurement. The table can be up to 48 inches wide and 120 inches long.

ProTables are built using aluminum extrusion and long-life steel bearings to insure smooth operation and to minimize orthogonal, Abbé, and cosine measuring errors.

Customer requirements are discussed first. Design solutions are shared with the customer using real time screen sharing tools and/or 3D CAD viewers to ensure the final product is built to satisfy specific measuring requirements.

Other ProTable models are available for measurement for wire, tube and other round objects.
