BAC to showcase its sustainable, innovative cooling products and present on Adiabatic Heat Rejection at 2023 AHR Expo.
Jessup, MD – Furthering its vision to reinvent cooling to sustain the world, Baltimore Aircoil Company (BAC) will showcase its leading evaporative adiabatic and hybrid cooling solutions at the AHR Expo, the event for ‘everything new in HVACR’. This year’s Expo will take place from February 6-8, 2023, at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Georgia. Visit Booth #C6731 in Exhibit Hall C to try BAC’s immersive augmented reality experience and view fun and unique tabletop display models of BAC’s suite of innovative products. Multiple experts will be available at the booth to discuss the sustainability of these products, which was reflected in a recently published Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) report.
At the Expo, BAC will present multiple topics concerning adiabatic heat rejection. On Monday, February 6th from 4:30 – 5:30 PM in Georgia World Congress Center room B308, BAC’s Ben Cohen will speak on ‘The Fundamentals of Adiabatic Heat Rejection’, including how to compare different cooling systems, when adiabatic units are right for projects, and the different types of adiabatic coolers available, hosted by the Cooling Technology Institute (CTI).
As part of the ASHRAE Winter Conference in conjunction with the AHR Expo, Stephen Kline (BAC) and Mihir Kalyani (Evapco) will be sharing their expertise on adiabatic heat rejection. Seminar #42, sponsored by Technical Committee 8.6, Cooling Towers and Evaporative Condensers, will cover principles of operation, maintenance, operational benefits, and the impact of codes and standards related to the growing technology of adiabatic heat rejection. The seminar is titled ‘Adiabatic Heat Rejection: The New Happy Medium’ and can be joined in person on Tuesday, February 7th from 9:45 – 10:45 AM, Georgia World Congress Center room A408.
At the booth, BAC will showcase the TrilliumSeries™ Adiabatic Cooler, its newest adiabatic product, which serves demanding cooling applications where energy efficiency is paramount but water must be used sparingly. Innovative and inherently reliable, this fluid cooler optimizes water and energy efficiency while delivering the lowest ownership costs — all in a single, easy-to-install package.
The Nexus® Modular Hybrid Cooler, which will also be highlighted, has revolutionized the cooling industry by bringing to market the first intelligent, plug-and-play, modular hybrid fluid cooling system for HVAC and manufacturing applications. A radical shift from legacy hybrid fluid coolers, The Nexus Cooler optimizes water and energy savings automatically while minimizing installation costs and operating costs. It also maximizes uptime while radically reducing maintenance costs, delivering top water quality with its simplified, compact, and lightweight design.
In addition to the development of sustainable products, BAC’s ESG report sets multiple ambitious goals to advance its sustainability mission into the next decade. BAC aims by 2030 to reduce Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 50% and have all major facilities triple-certified according to ISO 9001 / 14001 / 45001 standards. BAC will also integrate strong Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion advocacy and behavior throughout the organization. Another ESG initiative seeks to positively impact the lives of at least 50,000 people by actively supporting the water-related charity Just a Drop and continuing local community initiatives.
