AOPACK BM3000-HD provides a new solution for short-run box manufacturing. It is a fully automatic corrugated box making machine.

The rapid growth of e-commerce has created a strong demand for short-run corrugated box production. Today, brands and online retailers need packaging for many different product categories, sizes, and order volumes. This has placed new pressure on traditional corrugated box production.

Conventional carton production is usually based on fixed box sizes, standard box types, and large-volume orders. It also depends heavily on physical dies or moulds. Once the box size or structure changes, new tooling must be designed, manufactured, installed, and adjusted. This process takes time, increases cost, and limits production flexibility. For short-run, multi-size, and fast-changing packaging orders, traditional die-based production is no longer efficient enough.

AOPACK BM3000-HD provides a new solution for short-run box manufacturing. It is a fully automatic corrugated box making machine designed for medium and small batch production. The machine does not require any moulds. By combining slotting knives, creasing wheels, slitting knives, horizontal cutting, vibrating knife cutting, flexo printing, and other processing tools, BM3000-HD can produce more than 150 box styles. It can also import CAD drawings to produce more complex box designs.

The whole production process is automatic, with fast order changeover in approximately 1–6 seconds. This allows packaging manufacturers to switch quickly from one box size or style to another, greatly improving efficiency and reducing labor requirements. In most production scenarios, one operator is enough to run the machine.

One of the key innovations of BM3000-HD is the integration of Vibrating Knife Cutting and Creasing. Traditional box makers are often limited when producing boxes with diagonal cuts, curved lines, or irregular shapes. BM3000-HD solves this problem by combining standard slotting, creasing, slitting, and trimming functions with vibrating knife cutting. Regular operations are handled by high-efficiency modules, while the vibrating knife completes special cutting or creasing tasks. This improves both flexibility and production speed.

BM3000-HD also offers wide board compatibility. It can process corrugated board from E-flute to AAA heavy-duty board, with thickness from approximately 2 mm to 16 mm. It supports both light 3-ply board and heavy-duty 7-ply board. The maximum cardboard width is 3000 mm, and the box length can be unlimited, making it suitable for both small cartons and large industrial packaging.

For heavy-duty packaging, BM3000-HD uses advanced Male-Female Creasing Technology. Double-sided creasing makes thick board easier to fold and helps carton flaps fold both inward and outward with better accuracy and less risk of cracking.

With lead edge feeding, pre-creasing, creasing, slotting, slitting, vibrating knife cutting, horizontal cutting, gluing, glue flap crushing, flexo printing, and QR code scanning integrated in one machine, BM3000-HD completes production in a single pass. It helps manufacturers reduce handling, save labor, improve efficiency, and meet the growing demand for short-run corrugated packaging.

As manufacturers offer more customization than ever before, managing product complexity has become a critical challenge. Tune in with Dan Joe Barry, Vice President of Product Marketing at Configit, who explores how companies are tackling the growing number of product configurations across engineering, sales, manufacturing, and service. He explains how Configuration Lifecycle Management (CLM) helps organizations maintain a single source of truth for configuration data. The result: fewer errors, faster quoting, and the ability to deliver customized products at scale.
