March 29, 2023 Boom Collaboration Begins To Boom

Fast-growing video conferencing manufacturer, Boom Collaboration, has joined forces with AV distributor S-Pro.

The new distribution deal is being hailed as a major catalyst for growth for both parties – providing Boom with a strong foothold in the region which offers S-Pro resellers access to high quality, high value conferencing innovations, from plug-and-play devices to integrated full room systems.

Boom Collaboration was born in 2020 by founders Fredrik Hörnkvist and Holli Hulett, in a bid to disrupt the sector and stand out from the crowd. The ambitious Texas-based business has quickly developed an extensive conferencing portfolio and operates in 20 countries, with plans for major expansion to 30 more this year.

The new partnership is being hailed as a ‘natural fit’ for Boom Collaboration by Hörnkvist who explained: “S-Pro is a very well respected AV and video security distributor across a key sales region. It provides us with the perfect platform to penetrate deeper into new territories as we continue to grow and develop around the world.”

Hulett added: “We see S-Pro providing us with the reach, support and skills to quickly make an instant impact and help its resellers capture greater levels of business. It’s a win-win for all parties.”

Tallinn-based S-Pro was established in 2012 and features Country Managers, Jaanus Peensalu and Jani Hankimo.

Peensalu pointed out: “Boom products combine high quality with exceptional value which fill a natural gap in our wider portfolio. They will open new sales doors for both AV integrators and IT resellers who can attack the market in a compelling new way.”

His enthusiasm was shared by Hankimo who emphasized: “There’s little doubt hybrid work is here to stay and for many organizations it’s already embedded as an integral part of modern working cultures, not just across the Baltics but around the globe.

“Our AV and video technology solutions help users to develop their business and services by being innovative, cost efficient and reliable. Boom Collaboration share these values and we are very confident the new partnership will be a resounding success particularly as their stylish high performance collaboration products are tailored for today’s flexible working trends.”

Boom Collaboration’s Area Sales Manager, Tero Huovinen, concluded: “We are all looking forward to working together and propelling a new conferencing name into the Baltics market with vigour and determination.”
