Miami, Florida — luis vidal + architects, an award-winning architectural firm specializing in healthcare and transportation design, is pleased to announce that Jim Henry has been appointed as executive vice president & managing principal, North America, effective April 14, 2023.Jim brings over two decades of experience to the role, including a background in design, leadership and innovative problem-solving.

At luis vidal + architects, Jim will lead the firm’s North American operations, overseeing design and business development activities in the region. As senior vice president and global director of health and wellbeing at CallisonRTKL, Jim Henry led the development of healthcare global projects, ensuring that design was always centered on the wellbeing of patients and staff. Prior to CallisonRTKL, Henry held various leadership roles at design firm HDR, including vice president of the U.S. west region and global design director of health.

Jim Henry is an accomplished architect, having won numerous awards for his design work, including the AIA National Young Architect’s Award and the Building Design + Construction ’40 Under 40′ Award. Henry is licensed to practice architecture in Texas, Arkansas, Florida, Michigan, Pennsylvania, New York, and Minnesota.

Jim Henry’s appointment comes at an exciting time for luis vidal + architects, as the firm continues to grow and expand its reach globally.
