Visit the Fellowes Design & Experience Center for an immersive journey, blending design, technology, and functionality.
Fellowes, a global leader and trusted partner that provides product solutions to fulfill a broad range of WorkLife needs, will showcase the innovative design integration capabilities of its Array Indoor Air Quality System during the upcoming Fulton Market Design Days, June 10-12, at the Fellowes Design & Experience Center in the 800 Fulton building, at 311 N Greene Street, Chicago, IL.
The Fellowes Design & Experience Center, spanning 12,000 square feet, has achieved the prestigious WELL Certified™ Silver status from the International WELL Building Institute™. This accolade underscores Fellowes’ commitment to creating healthy work environments, a dedication that goes beyond their products to enhance the well-being of employees and visitors alike.
The Center is designed as an immersive journey, blending design, technology, and functionality. It serves multiple purposes: a showcase for Fellowes’ products, a design lab, and a collaborative workspace. Visitors are invited into the holistic environment, thoughtfully designed with well-being as a priority.
Integral to maintaining the environment’s well-being is the addition of the Array IAQ system. Array is the first system of its kind, where networked air purifiers complement commercial HVAC systems to enhance indoor air quality rapidly and efficiently. Combining H13 True HEPA filtration, a comprehensive suite of indoor air quality sensors, and real-time monitoring, Array ensures contaminants are detected and removed faster than ever before. The Viewpoint Community Dashboard, on display and accessible via QR codes throughout the Center, provides visitors with real-time data, assuring them of the healthy and safe air they breathe.
Array’s thoughtfully designed range of air purification units seamlessly integrates into any space and design aesthetic, providing localized air quality management throughout the entire building, no matter the layout. Designed in the USA, Fellowes’ engineers carefully considered form and function to create a range of Array unit options, designed to serve particular spaces and purposes. Whether a space calls for in-ceiling, suspended ceiling, wall mount, or floor stand units, Array has a solution that is optimized for both design integration and IAQ capabilities. As a uniquely developed networked air quality system, Array is endlessly scalable to adapt with the building’s evolving structure, headcount, and purification needs.
Array can support buildings to meet WELL Air Concept Preconditions, including meeting thresholds for particulate matter and organic gases. It can also deliver 5 of the total 18 points of the Air Concept of the WELL building certification. The system allows buildings to meet enhanced thresholds for particulate matter as well as meet the requirements of installing indoor air monitors, promoting air quality awareness, and improving supply air.
Fellowes Array has been honored with the esteemed 2023 GOOD DESIGN® Award. This prestigious, internationally recognized award acknowledges excellence in innovative design. Fellowes Array also received the Technology-Integrated Solutions, Silver Nightingale Award at the 2023 Healthcare Design Conference + Expo. “The Array system is a design achievement in terms of both aesthetics and capabilities,” emphasized Taiwon Choi, Director of Industrial Design at Fellowes. “We are proud to say that these awards recognize this dual achievement of our design team.”
