Precision Design Engineering adds new, state-of-the-art mill-turn machine with precision manufacturing capabilities.

WAREHAM, MA…It’s another market differentiator for Precision Design Engineering in Wareham, with the introduction its new, state-of-the-art mill-turn machine with precision manufacturing capabilities down to a ten-thousandth of an inch.

The machine expands PDE’s commitment to automation and opens new market opportunities for uber precise parts manufacturing.   The 2600M allows PDE to tackle larger manufacturing challenges, tighter tolerance requirements and adds to its existing lights out production capability.

Precision Design Engineering (PDE) CEO Ron Gerace said that the DN Solutions 2600M is one of the most advanced on the market, with tolerances down to a ten-thousandth of an inch and automation including raw material feed, parts collection and, coupled with a the company’s  Universal UR10e cobot, is robot-enabled. The addition of this latest machine will enable PDE to handle larger parts in its design and manufacturing. “This provides PDE with the capability to handle some of the highest precision parts and products, along with increased lights out production capability,” said Gerace.
