January 9, 2023 JAKTOOL’s Kinsberg to be Guest Lecturer at Rutgers

Chairman, COO, and Founder Jeff Kinsberg will serve as a guest lecturer at the Rutgers University School of Engineering.

(Cranbury, NJ) JAKTOOL, one of the Northeast’s premier product development, engineering, and precision prototyping companies, has announced that Chairman, COO, and Founder Jeff Kinsberg will serve as a guest lecturer at the Rutgers University School of Engineering. Interactive educational sessions will focus on the Accelerated Innovation Methodology (AIM™), JAKTOOL’s proven process for developing products and accelerating their path to market.

Kinsberg will begin his educational program at Rutgers in January of 2023.

“I love working with students,” Kinsberg said. “I love their energy, curiosity, and innovative spirit. I look forward to using actual project examples to show students how to breathe life into a new product as it advances from ideation to something tangible that fills a need or solves a problem in real-world applications.

AIM™ is a collaborative, seven-step process that guides organizations through project launch, concept development, production of a physical prototype, and the transfer of all insights and assets to the client. AIM™ is driven by best practices, agile partnerships, and JAKTOOL’s six core values:

  • Great Communication
  • Humble Confidence
  • Learn, Grow, and Apply
  • Passion for Doing
  • Be the Example
  • Trust 360

Kinsberg’s contributions in the classroom will be the latest chapter in the partnership between JAKTOOL and the Rutgers University School of Engineering. JAKTOOL is a long-time sponsor and supporter of Rutgers Formula Racing and recently announced a partnership with Rutgers and the Department of Defense to develop new hypersonic technology. JAKTOOL has also taken an active role in grooming the next generation of industry leaders and innovators, welcoming students at their manufacturing facilities to discuss best practices, customer challenges, and the latest trends with the JAKTOOL team.

“Advancing industry initiatives to meet the evolving needs of our clients is something I take very seriously,” Kinsberg said. “There’s no better way to accomplish this goal than providing engineering students, the future leaders in our industry, with exposure to real-world challenges, solutions, and processes. This hands-on experience will serve them well as they embark on careers in engineering and manufacturing.”
