May 18, 2023 Caldwell Launches Improved Tea Cup Pipe Carrier

The Caldwell Group has redesigned its best-selling Tea Cup pipe carrier with more benefits for the end user.

The Caldwell Group has redesigned its best-selling Tea Cup pipe carrier with more benefits for the end user, including a smoother exterior surface, lighter weight and CE markings.

The pipe carrier is an efficient way for customers to handle concrete water and sewer pipes, saving time and money in the process.

The improved Tea Cup pipe picks have a lifting capacity of 18 tons and are available in two sizes and styles; they are cast and not welded, resulting in more comfortable handling and the updated versions will include CE markings to indicate they are CE certified for faster visual compliance verification in the field.

“These small improvements can make a big difference. The Caldwell manufacturing and engineering teams are always looking for ways to make our products better for the people who use them,” said Darrin Noe, director of sales and marketing, The Caldwell Group.

CE markings confirm a product has been assessed by the manufacturer and meet EU safety, health and environmental protection requirements. It is required for products manufactured anywhere in the world that are then marketed in the EU.

The Tea Cups come with Two Model PC Standard Pipe Carriers for use with ¾” and 1” wire ropes and two Model PC-Low Profile Pipe Carriers for use with ¾” and 1” wire ropes.

  • All units meet or exceed ASME standards.
