Baker has a background in project management and customer service within the higher education sector, and brings daily operations and management skills to his new role. As a Technical Services Specialist, two of his main responsibilities are to be on-site to ensure a successful delivery and provide clients with a start-up tutorial on how to use and care for their new pool.

“I’m excited to join Soake Pools because I think the cofounders have created a great product that is both functional and beautiful,” expresses Baker. “I’ve also been impressed by the thoughtful design of each pool and how well the Soake team supports both the client and contractor. It is remarkable how much attention there is to every detail of the pool and client experience. My hope is to put my project management and customer service experience to work by helping contractors deliver on their projects, while also ensuring our clients enjoy all stages of the project, from design right through to that first dip in their new pool.”

Brathwaite has a rich history spanning over a decade in channel sales and sales management across diverse technology sectors, and has earned acclaim for driving exponential growth and fostering impactful partnerships. As the new Southwestern Territory Manager, Brathwaite is entrusted with the pivotal role of expanding the territory and cultivating new partnerships to propel the company’s upward trajectory.

“I am eagerly anticipating the opportunity to leverage the expertise honed during my corporate tenure and apply it to Soake Pools, contributing to the expansion of its footprint throughout the Southwest,” explains Brathwaite. “Joining a family-owned business that genuinely values its employees represents a strategic move at this stage in my career. I am enthusiastic about collaborating with Karen, Brian, and the entire Soake Pools team to realize our collective goals.”
