January 20, 2023 Aerobotix Receives Lockheed Martin Award

Supplier Recognition Award recognizes robotics integrator as “a vital partner” of LM’s Space division.

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Aerobotix, an AS9100-certified FANUC robotics integrator, announces today that it recently received a special award at a Lockheed Martin supplier conference.

Aerobotix was presented with a 2022 Supplier Recognition Award for Ease of Doing Business. The award describes Aerobotix as “a vital partner” of Lockheed Martin’s Space division.

Headquartered in Maryland, Lockheed Martin is a global security and aerospace company that employs approximately 114,000 people worldwide. LM is principally engaged in the research, design, development, manufacture, integration and sustainment of advanced technology systems, products and services.

Aerobotix has been a Lockheed Martin supplier for the past 17 years, providing robotics and automation support to LM divisions including Aeronautics, Missiles and Fire Control, and Space.

This is the second time in three years that Aerobotix has received a Lockheed Martin Supplier Recognition Award. In 2020, LM’s Missiles and Fire Control division named Aerobotix as an Outstanding Small Business.

“Though we’re technically a small business, Aerobotix takes pride in being able to make a big impact on projects for Lockheed Martin and other global companies,” added Simmons.
