Firm opens new offices in New York and North Carolina.
NEW YORK – Baringa, a global management consultancy, today announced the opening of an expanded office in New York and a new office in Charlotte, N.C., extending the firm’s footprint in the U.S. This expansion – which adds to sites in Houston and Chicago – comes in response to rapid growth in the firm’s U.S. client base across sectors including energy and resources, financial services, consumer goods and retail.
Baringa, which operates across four continents and opened its first North American operation in 2016, has experienced a notable increase in U.S. clients seeking the firm’s expertise in tackling a broad spectrum of challenges. Common trends have included requests for complex financial and risk advisory, technology transformation and consultancy which covers future energy systems. One notable growth area spanning sectors has been clients requesting Baringa help them identify and embed relevant sustainability practices more deeply into their organizations. This activity is driven, in part, by the rapidly evolving regulatory landscape, including growing climate-related disclosure requirements.
“U.S. businesses are experiencing demands from multiple stakeholders,” said Brad O’Brien, Partner in U.S. Financial Services for Baringa. “Companies of all sizes are responding to the growing challenges from climate change, while continuing to capitalize on new opportunities to drive growth and serve their customers.”
“Our new location in midtown Manhattan allows us to meet the needs of our expanding team and customer base,” continued O’Brien. “With the significant growth we’ve experienced in the financial services sector, opening an office in Charlotte – the second largest banking center in the U.S. by total assets – makes sense strategically.”
