February 8, 2023 Log-hub AG Launches Network Design Simulator

Game-changer in Supply Chain planning. Powerful tool available for simulating demand changes, analyzing growth potentials and risk impacts.

Zug, Switzerland – Log-hub, a leading Swiss Supply Chain technology company, announced the launch of the Network Design Simulator. This new tool is designed to help Supply Chain Analysts and Engineers design, optimize, and analyze their Supply Chain by simulating various scenarios and comparing them based on important KPIs like transport and warehousing costs.

“We are on a mission to help transform Supply Chain data into value, with a mix of data engineering and analytics. Our new tool, the Network Design Simulator, will help our customers achieve this by giving them the ability to easily input their data, as well as simulate various scenarios, to optimize their Supply Chain”, said Jan Sigmund, the Co- CEO of Log-hub.

The main benefits of the Network Design Simulator include the ability to simulate the impact of supplier outages, natural disasters, or demand changes in different regions and markets on the Supply Chain, as well as the ability to simulate growth possibilities in certain regions and segments and analyze the growth impact on the current network.

“The Network Design Simulator is a game-changer in the Supply Chain industry. It allows our customers to design, optimize, and analyze their Supply Chain quickly and easily, helping them make informed decisions and drive growth”, said Alexander Sigmund the CTO of Log-hub.

There are multiple use cases, that this powerful tool resolves.

Analyze new Supply Chain Design. Test out different configurations and see how they might perform in terms of cost, lead time, and other factors. Make informed decisions about whether or not to proceed with the redesign.

Optimize the existing structure. If you are looking to improve the efficiency of the existing supply chain, with this tool try out different configurations and identify opportunities for cost savings or performance improvements.

Get disruption impact analysis. This tool helps simulate different types of disruptions (e.g. natural disasters, supplier outages) to see their impact on your supply chain, so you can prepare for them and mitigate the effects of such disruptions.

Simulate your growth. Analyze the impact of growth assumptions in specific regions and markets. Determine if the current supply chain design can effectively support the additional load, or if changes in the structure are necessary.

The tool also has a user-friendly interface, making it easy for users to input and manipulate data, as well as the ability to save or load simulations for later usage, or work together with a team on a simulation.
