Lauren K. Venin, a veteran employee of Dresdner Robin, brings 20 years of experience to her new role as director of landscape architecture.

JERSEY CITY, N.J. – Dresdner Robin, a prominent land-use consultancy firm specializing in urban and suburban design and development, announced today it has named Lauren K. Venin, LLA, RLA, CFM, as its newest director of landscape architecture. Venin, a 10-year veteran of the firm, brings more than two decades of experience to her new role as director of landscape architecture.

As landscape architecture practice leader, Venin will be instrumental in shaping the creative direction of the practice and further elevating the level of client service. Her innovative approach to design, combined with a deep understanding of environmental responsibility, positions her as the ideal leader to spearhead Dresdner Robin’s landscape architecture endeavors.

Throughout her tenure with Dresdner Robin, she has demonstrated unparalleled expertise in handling diverse and challenging projects. Notably, Venin played a pivotal role in the successful completion of significant ventures, including the development Berry Lane Park – one of Jersey City’s largest new parks – complex Brownfields redevelopment projects, state-of-the-art assisted living facilities and numerous mixed-use residential developments featuring extensive roof amenity terraces.

Venin has been practicing landscape architecture for over twenty years and holds a bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture from Rutgers University. In addition to her professional career, she is highly active in her home community, where she became involved in flood mitigation and open space management over a decade ago following a series of events that affected her neighborhood, home and family. Her efforts have expanded to include the formation of both a stormwater management committee and a trails committee, with the goal of promoting ecological stewardship and recreation alongside flood prevention efforts.
