August 27, 2026 Aalberts IPS Highlights Shurjoint Piping Products

Stainless steel Shurjoint fittings, valves and couplings simplify installation while supporting reliable grooved piping connections.

Aalberts integrated piping systems (IPS), a global leader in advanced integrated piping systems for the distribution and control of liquids and gases, highlights its VSH Shurjoint stainless steel grooved fittings, valves and couplings designed to support dependable performance, installation efficiency and system flexibility across potable water, heating, cooling, compressed air, sprinkler and dry fire main applications.

VSH Shurjoint stainless steel grooved pipe systems offer a broad range of couplings, fittings and valves that are less labor intensive, safer and cleaner to install while delivering consistent connection quality.

The Shurjoint Model SS-10 stainless steel 90-degree elbow is investment cast in sizes from 1 inch through 8 inches and is available in CF8 (304) and CF8M (316) stainless steel grades. Optional materials include CF3M (316L), 316Ti, 2205 Duplex, 2507 Super Duplex and ASTM CK-3MCuN for specific service requirements. Full-flow characteristics support system performance, while dimensions matching standard ductile iron grooved fittings can help streamline system design and installation. The fittings comply with NSF/ANSI 372 for potable water service and carry UL, ULc and FM approvals.

The lever-operated SJ400L stainless steel butterfly valve and SJ600L stainless steel ball valve provide practical flow-control options for heating, cooling, compressed air, industrial and potable water applications. Their grooved-end configurations support the efficiency, cleaner installation and connection consistency associated with VSH Shurjoint grooved systems. The SJ400L is NSF and CRN approved, while the SJ600L is CRN and NSF/ANSI 61 approved.

For applications requiring a rigid connection, the Shurjoint Model SS-7E rigid coupling is designed for Schedule 5S, Schedule 10S and Schedule 40S stainless steel pipe. Its tongue-and-groove mechanism and heavy-duty bolt pad design create a positive rigid connection, while CF8 (304) or CF8M (316) housing segments, a Grade E EPDM gasket, stainless steel track bolts and heavy-duty nuts support durable performance. The coupling is suited for heating, cooling, compressed air, sprinkler and dry fire main applications and carries QB (CSTBat), UL and ULc approvals.

As manufacturers offer more customization than ever before, managing product complexity has become a critical challenge. Tune in with Dan Joe Barry, Vice President of Product Marketing at Configit, who explores how companies are tackling the growing number of product configurations across engineering, sales, manufacturing, and service. He explains how Configuration Lifecycle Management (CLM) helps organizations maintain a single source of truth for configuration data. The result: fewer errors, faster quoting, and the ability to deliver customized products at scale.
