Rainwater supports US Manufacturing expansion and regional job creation with energy-efficient buildings.
Atlanta, GA – Rainwater Construction Company proudly announces it has completed construction on a new building for the Swift Atlanta Corporation, a metal components manufacturer founded in 1982 in Suwanee, Georgia. The new facility is the eighth collaboration between Rainwater Construction and Swift Atlanta. It exemplifies both companies’ dedication to regional job creation through onshoring, growth in US manufacturing, and sustainable building/business practices.
The forty-thousand-square-foot facility was designed using modern energy efficiency standards and next-gen materials that deliver lower energy costs and a smaller carbon footprint than the company’s older buildings. The facility is built with Butler Manufacturing’s® proprietary ThermaLiner™ high-performance roofing insulation and the Shadowline Insulated Wall Panel System from Kingspan. The Class 1 Fire Rated wall panels deliver superior thermal efficiency that keeps the inside of the building cool in the summer and warm in the winter, saving on energy costs and unnecessary energy usage.
“There is no greater honor a business can achieve than a client partnership spanning twenty-five-plus years,” said Rainwater President Steven Hudgins. “Swift Atlanta’s trust in us again and again is the reason we’re in business and the reason we’re constantly striving to deliver best-in-class construction using state-of-the-art materials. As a long- standing Georgia business, we are invested in our client’s success and the success of our community and nation. To be able to provide spaces that support American manufacturing and US job creation is an effort we take on with pride.”
